Area Sales Manager (Railways)
Area Sales Manager opportunity with a renowned International manufacturer of capital goods within the railway industry. Reporting to the Sales Director, the role will be based in Switzerland with regular traveling across Germany, Switzerland, Austria…. This is a varied and exciting area sales manager role selling capital goods for a successful and established company. You will be responsible for maximising the sales revenue with the existing client base, and developing new customers across your area.
- Maintain and develop relationship with current clients and local partners.
- Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
- Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Negotiate tender, contract terms and conditions to meet both customer and company needs
- Understand the decision making processes of key decision-makers/stakeholders of identified leads.
- Understand technical specification that will conform with the customer needs.
- Attend relevant exhibitions and conferences
Requirement :
Engineering degree or equivalent required.
8-10 years technical sales experience is required (within Capital good or/and Railways).
Proven experience in international Sales.
Suitable candidates will be highly organised, self-motivated achievers.
Fluent in German and English, French or any other languages would be an asset. Large flexibility to travel (40%) for short business trips.
